A terminal comprises: a content data storage unit for storing content data of purchased contents purchased from a server in association with content IDs; index data storage unit for storing index data of contents managed by the server in association with content IDs; and a control unit for, when receiving a start instruction of content retrieval with specified keywords, retrieving content IDs of index data matching the keywords from the index data storage unit and also extracting content IDs of the purchased contents from the content data storage unit to display a list of contents with the retrieved content IDs by categorizing the contents into a purchased content and a non-purchased content.
