To enable the positioning of the cooker body of a rice cooker and the lid of it with the two certainly closed up, and to prevent foreign object from entering in the cooker body, and to improve the perability when the lock is cancelled.
A lock material 60 is movably and rotatably set inside the lid 48. This material 60 has a hooking part 61 and a receiving part 62. The hooking part 61 sticks downward and hooks on an armoring body 4 of the cooker body 3 of the rice cooker. The receiving part 62 sticks downward. A lock cancelling mechanism 14 is set at the armoring body 4 of the cooker body 3, and consists of an operating member 15, a rotating member 22, and a lock cancelling member 31. The member 15 is exposed at least a part of it to the surface. The rotating member 22 has a hooking part 23 which rotates as the operating member 15 is operated and extends upward. The lock cancelling member 31 has a containing part 34 which contains a receiving part 62 of the lock material 60, and is set above the hooking part 23 in the rotating member 22. When the lock cancelling member 31 is moved through the rotating member 22 by the operation of the operating member 15, the receiving part 62 is pushed and pressed. Then, the lock member 60 rotates and moves in the direction of the lock cancelling.
