Abstract:

To provide rip-stop taffeta fabric with the capability of releasing dust, which has a light weight as well as excellent tear strength and easily releases dust sticking thereto, and a fiber product made from the same.

The rip-stop taffeta fabric made from polyester multifilament yarn A having a total fineness of 35 dtex or lower and polyester multifilament yarn B having a total fineness of greater than 35 dtex, has a cover factor CF in a range of 1,300 to 3,000, has been subjected to a treatment for making it water-repellent, and has a friction-withstanding voltage of 3,000 V or lower.
