Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a thermal transfer image receiving sheet excellent in the releasability from a thermal transfer sheet at the time of the formation of an image and capable of forming a recording image excellent in developed color density, sharpness and various durabilities in a thermal transfer method using a sublimable dye.
CONSTITUTION: In a thermal transfer image receiving sheet constituted by forming a dye receiving layer on at least one surface of a base sheet, the dye receiving layer contains a crosslinked substance consisting of a hydroxyl group- containing thermoplastic resin and a crosslinking agent.
