Abstract:
PURPOSE: To raise the bond strength of the subject rods after weaving operation and also to facilitate their handling for machining and weaving operations.
CONSTITUTION: In order to increase the bond strength, after weaving operation, of rods 1, 2 made by molding a reinforcing fiber bundle with a matrix resin, it is effective that the curing degree of the rods be kept at 75-95%; therefore, semi-cured rods with the curing degree adjusted within this range are used for weaving of the subject rods. The handling of the semi-cured rod can be facilitated by curing only the ends 2a of the original rod.
