Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To suppress heat generation of a DC motor built in a roller, prevent articles to be conveyed from being damaged by the roller, and prevent a surface of the roller from being damaged by the articles to be conveyed when accumulating articles to be conveyed by a low-pressure method.SOLUTION: A drive roller 10 incorporates a DC motor 11. A measuring unit (microcomputer 161, detecting circuit 163, shunt resistor R) measures a driving current supplied to the DC motor 11. A first control unit (microcomputer 161) controls to stop supplying a drive current to the DC motor 11 when a drive current measured by the measuring unit exceeds an upper limit value set by a dip switch 164 in a state in which the DC motor 11 incorporated in the drive roller 10 is restrained, by the stopper 14 being set, accumulation being started in an accumulation section, and conveyance of a conveyed object 100 being forcibly stopped on the drive roller 10.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 8
