Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent horizontal shifting of goods during conveyance by rotating a roller during carrying in/out of the goods and fixing the goods by stopping the rotation of the roller during conveyance.
SOLUTION: A roller conveyor is provided with a roller tray 2 placed on a load base, a number of first rollers 3 supported by the roller tray 2 and arrayed in the longitudinal direction of the roller tray 2 so as to be rotated for traveling goods, a tightly sealed cylindrical body 5 disposed between the first roller 3 and the roller tray 2 for stopping the rotation of the first roller 3 by expansion and a second roller 4 disposed in a proper spot between the first rollers 3 and supported by the roller tray 2 so as to be moved up or down from the traveling surface of the first roller 3. At least the surface part of the second roller 4 is made of an elastic body having proper elasticity, placed on the load base of a conveying body and used for carrying in/out of goods.
