Abstract:
To provide a roller for a wire saw excellent in productivity and capable of restricting abrasion of a grinding wheel used for machining a groove less than a conventional one.
This roller comprises a roller body part A whereof at least a surface layer side of a circumferential face is made of ceramics, a resin layer B mounted to cover the circumferential face, and a wire groove C formed along a circumferential direction parting the resin layer B and having a fillet on the roller body part A side.
