To provide a bearing capable of preventing propagation of a crack even when a crack occurs in a bearing inner ring during operation of a jet engine, a gas-turbine engine or the like.

A rolling bearing includes: an outer ring including an outer ring raceway in an inner peripheral surface; the inner ring including an inner ring raceway in an outer peripheral surface; and a plurality of rolling elements provided between the outer ring raceway and the inner ring raceway so as to be rotatable, where a fitting force is provided between an inner peripheral surface of the inner ring and a shaft for using the rolling bearing. In the rolling bearing, a plurality of crack propagation prevention holes opened in parts other than the inner ring raceway of the outer peripheral surface of the inner ring are provided in a circumferential direction, whereby, even when a crack occurs in an inner ring raceway surface, propagation of the crack is stopped when the crack reaches the crack propagation prevention hole before the propagation of the crack in an axial direction reaches an inner ring end surface, thereby stopping further propagation of the crack.
