Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotary connector capable of ensuring its reliability by ensuring foreign object removal performance.SOLUTION: A rotary connector 1 comprises a relay part 19 which ensures conduction between a fixed body and a rotary body. The relay part 19 is formed into a columnar shape and is arranged in such a direction that an axis L2 is located along the radial direction of the rotary connector 1. When the rotary body of the rotary connector 1 rotates, due to the difference in distance from a center P of the rotary connector 1, circumferential distances required during the rotation differ between a radially inner side end 19a (a point A) and a radially outer side end 19b (a point B) in the relay part 19. Thus, the point A acts as a rolling portion to ensure abrasion resistance, and the point B acts as a sliding portion to ensure foreign object removal performance.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
