PURPOSE: To downsize this relay with excellent insulating performance when the relay is constituted by combining it with a switch by downsizing an electromagnet with excellent insulating performance by forming a very thin insulating coating film between a coil part and an iron core.
CONSTITUTION: A rotary fulcrum type polarized electromagnet is composed of a coil block 2 where a coil 2A is wound round this after an iron core 2B is installed on a coil frame 2C having a terminal, a plate-like yoke 4 which is inserted and fixed between magnetic poles 3A and 3B of the coil block 2 and forms a magnetic circuit between it and the iron core 2B, a rectangular permanent magnet 5 arranged in a recessed part 4A of the plate-like yoke 4 and a contactor 6 which rotates with a center part as a fulcrum and whose end part 6A and end part 6B respectively contact with the magnetic pole 3A and the magnetic pole 3B. A very thin insulating coating film is formed over the whole except the terminal, and a relay is constituted by combining it with a switch.
