To provide a rotary microwave baking furnace that obtains burnt lime uniformly at a high baking rate, freely controls a baking temperature and a baking time, and bakes carbonate mineral without being limited to the size thereof and to provide the baking method thereof.
The rotary microwave baking furnace includes: a cavity which forms a sealed space irradiated with a microwave; a microwave generation device which irradiates the inside of the cavity with the microwave; a heating body which houses a body to be baked inside, is installed in the cavity rotatably while inclined at a prescribed angle in the cavity, and irradiated with the microwave to generate heat; a baked body supply device which supplies bodies to be baked to the heating body one after another; a heating body rotation device which provides power for rotating the heating body; and a control part which controls the amount of baked body supply by the baked body supply device and the rotating speed of the heating body rotated by the heating body rotation device.
