Abstract:
To provide a rotary type multi-pipe sampler which securely prevents co-rotation of an inner pipe without increasing the number of components and weight, and can collect core samples without disturbing from the ground including hard steelmaking slugs like calcia modified soil.SOLUTION: A rotary type multi-pipe sampler (1) is configured to: connect, with a swivel joint, an approximately cylindrical outer pipe head (23) which holds an outer pipe (11) having a drilling bit (10) installed at its tip from a rear end side, and an approximately cylindrical inner pipe head (22) which holds an inner pipe (21) arranged inside the outer pipe from the rear end side in the outer pipe; rotate and cut the ground by the tip of the outer pipe that rotates with the outer pipe head; and store uncut core samples in the inside by a transparent pipe (31) arranged inside the inner pipe. The rotary type multi-pipe sampler inhibits co-rotation of the inner pipe with rotation of the outer pipe, by taking off the center of gravity of the inner pipe head from a rotating shaft of the swivel joint.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
