Title:
ROTATION SENSOR
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3857938
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation sensor capable of shortening the length of a lead wire of an excitation coil.
SOLUTION: This rotation sensor is provided with a fixed core having a first and a second rotors, two excitation coils, and core main bodies to respectively contain the excitation coils. It contactlessly detects a rotation angle or a relative rotation angle based on fluctuation of inductance of the excitation coils in accordance with rotation of the first and the second rotors. The fixed core 12 has cases 12e and 12f of conductive material covering two core main bodies 12a and 12b respectively, and having a lead-out part 12j for leading out the lead wire 12h of the excitation coil, and an intermediate member 12d of conductive material disposed between both cases. A wiring board 12k is disposed at an outer circumferential part corresponding to the intermediate member 12d to be parallel to it.
