To provide a rubber composition making rubber processing precise and easy by heightening the processing operability at rubber processing such as insulation or coating of the rubber on a metal cord, and improving the durability of adhesion with the metal cord; to simply provide the metal composite by using the rubber composition; and to provide a radial tire for a large sized car, obtained by using the rubber-cord composite, hardly causing breakdown or the like caused by adhesive failure or the like when a stress such as a long-time loaded traveling and high-speed traveling is added thereto.
The rubber composition is obtained by compounding a heat-resistant crosslinking agent, especially hexamethylene-1,6-bis(sodium thiosulfate)hydrate and/or a bismaleimide-based compound and factice with a rubber component. The metal-rubber composite using the rubber composition and the radial tire for the large-sized car are also provided.
