Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a rubber compsn. which does not yellow a coating film.
CONSTITUTION: This compsn. is prepd. by compounding 100 pts.wt. ethylene- propylene-diene terpolymer with 0.15-0.40 pt.wt. thiuram acclerator, 0.15-0.40 pt.wt. thiourea accelerator, and 0.15-0.40 pt.wt. dithiocarbamate accelerator provided the sum of these accelerators is 0.5-0.9 pt.wt. A weatherstrip is produced from the compsn.
