To provide a rubber laminated element which has favorable performance of absorbing vibration energy, which can improve durability and tensile performance and which makes miniaturization possible.
A damping member 6 having a high tensile-yield stress absorbs vibration energy, and the damping member 6 is constituted by trans-polyisoprene which is laid between an upper plate 2 and a lower plate 3 and is integrally bonded to both of the plates 2, 3, a rubber layer 4 and a steel sheet 5. When both of the plates 2, 3 become relatively misaligned in a lateral direction, the damping member 6 follows shearing deformation like rubber without constriction. When the tensile stress is applied to the damping member 6, it receives the tensile stress with the rubber layer 4 and the steel sheet 5.
