Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the generation of flashes and cracks in a resin part in the vulcanization-bonding between a rubber part and a resin part by forming a small rib on the bonding interface between the two parts.
CONSTITUTION: Unvulcanized rubber is placed on a bonding part 13 coated with an adhesive. The rubber, after being covered with a mold 2, is vulcanized by compression-heating to prepare a rubber part 31. The mold 2 contacts a small rib 14, which is loaded with pressure, to protect the entire top of a resin part 1 from being loaded with pressure so that cracking in the resin part 1 can be prevented. The small rib 14 is somewhat crushed by the pressure and heat of the mold 2 before a strong stress being applied to the main body of the resin part, effecting the relaxation of impact. Moreover, since the small rib 14 surrounds the bonding part 13, the generation of flashes is also prevented.
