Abstract:

To provide a control method of the runner inner diameter of the groove type induction heating device for allowing extension of the lifetime of a groove type induction heating device by stabilizing an inner diameter of a runner of the groove type induction heating device and stable operation of an induction furnace installed with the groove type induction heating device.

In the runner inner diameter control method of the groove type induction heating device provided for the induction furnace which stores molten iron and formed with a runner by using refractory, alumina system ramming material is used for the refractory when the molten iron is melted by charging iron scrap containing metal aluminum.
