Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To optimize arrangement of a bypass valve in a V-type engine.SOLUTION: An air bypass valve 62 for opening and closing an air bypass passage 61 to release surplus pressure of a supercharger 42 generated in closing a throttle valve 57 and the like, to an upstream side of the supercharger 42, is disposed at an upper part of the supercharger 42 at a side part of an engine 31. The air bypass valve 62 is disposed at a high position near an intercooler out pipe 58 disposed between an intercooler 47 and a surge tank 63. The air bypass passage 61 is disposed between the intercooler out pipe 58 and an inlet pipe 45, and an upper end of the air bypass passage 61 is connected to the intercooler out pipe 58 at a position near the throttle valve 57.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
