To provide a saddle-type chair capable of facilitating blood flow to the femoral region and allowing a user to do abdominal muscle exercise or upper body twisting exercise only by sitting on the chair.
The saddle-type chair includes a seat part for the user to be seated astride the seat part, and a support part continuously formed in the front of the seat part for supporting the knees of the user after seated. The seat part has a dent on which the buttocks of the user can be seated. The support part has a pair of scooped parts scooped so that the thighs and the knees of the user can abut when the user is seated astride the seat part, and a pair of projections provided above the scooped parts for supporting the knees of the user. The saddle-type chair is a molding having the seat part and the support part which are integrally formed of synthetic resin foam.
