Title:
SAFETY NET
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3244885
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To set up deceleration lower irrespective of the position of a safety net by forming it of synthetic fiber to make ductility higher than a prescribed percentage.
CONSTITUTION: Dimethyl terephthalate and ethylene glycol are made to generate polycondensation reaction after their exchange reaction to obtain a polymer being 0.64 in intrinsic viscosity. The polymer is heated at 220°C under reduced pressure to make solid phase polymerization for turning into a polymer being 0.98 in intrinsic viscosity. After the above polymer is melted at 305°C and then discharged through a nozzle plate having 249 round holes for passing through an atmosphere heated higher than a melting point, it is elongated by 1.08 times as preheated by a roller of temperature 74°C and wound up. The obtained yarn is knitted into a mesh-shaped knitting in the placing of 13 couse/half stitch by a raschel knitting machine. The feeling of a net is adjusted, and the net is processed through the hot air of 170°C to shrink the size of a stitch by 13% for obtaining a synthetic safety net being more than 70% in ductility.
