Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make the operation of crew free from the operating sail or boom, by passing then along the recess formed in the cockpit.
CONSTITUTION: A recess 15 is made in longitudinal direction of said boat in the outer-case 12b of centerboard case 9 projecting into cockpit 5. Bang rope 24 connected to the boom 21 and caningum rope 25 connected to the main sail 22 is guided through grooved wheel 26 to said recess 15, then through a cleat 18 for holding and stretching the rope to another grooved wheel 17. Since these ropes 24, 25 are recessed below the outer surface in the cockpit, the entangling to the foot of crew is eliminated thereby the selection and operation of rope during the operation of rope can be quickened.
