Abstract:

To provide a sample loading sheet capable of facilitating injection work of a DNA sample.

This sample loading sheet 1 is used for loading a test sample to a prescribed migration path position of a gel electrolyte layer of a migration plate used in a gel electrophoresis device. The sheet 1 is formed of a cation exchanging chromatography paper, while at least one main surface of the sheet 1 is partially or wholly coated with a water-resistant resin film. Because a DNA sample is generally charged with negative charges, the DNA sample can be easily absorbed in the sample loading sheet 1 formed of the cation exchanging chromatography paper. When a high voltage is applied to the sample loading sheet 1 set on the migration plate, the DNA sample absorbed in the sample loading sheet 1 is separated from the sheet 1 and migrated through the gel electrolyte layer.
