Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To quickly generate a saw-tooth wave voltage having a stabilized amplitude.
SOLUTION: The saw-tooth generation circuit is provided with voltage sources 1, 8 for determining the reference voltage, a comparison circuit 2 for comparing the reference voltage VH of the voltage source 1 with the output voltage VOUT of a saw-tooth wave, two capacitors C1, C2 for alternately repeating charging/discharging in accordance with the compared result of the comparison circuit 2, a constant current circuit 7 for charging the capacitors C1, C2 with a current of a size for determining the oscillation frequency of the saw-tooth wave, switch circuits 3, 6 for forming respective discharge circuits of the capacitors C1, C2, and switch circuits 4, 5 for respectively connecting the capacitors C1, C2 to the constant current circuit 7 so as to alternately charge the capacitors C1, C2. Thus saw-tooth wave having a prescribed amplitude corresponding to the reference voltage VH and VL can be generated from an output terminal 9.
