Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To use a sawtooth wave generation circuit for an integrated circuit since the detection characteristic of a phase difference can be decided by the ratio of capacitors and it is independent of an absolute value.
SOLUTION: A phase shift between an input synchronizing signal and sawtooth wave output is detected by the subtraction of charges accumulated in capacitors 4 and 5 holding the wave height value of a sawtooth wave and a charge accumulated in a capacitor 6 holding fixed voltage. A value obtained by integrating a subtraction result is set to be the control input voltage of a voltage control oscillator 17. The output of the voltage control oscillator 17 is counted by a counter 2 and the output of the counter 2 is converted into the sawtooth wave by a DA converter 1.
