Title:
SCANNING LASER OPHTHALMOSCOPE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2014226156
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scanning laser ophthalmoscope which can remove ghost light without causing problems such as burden on a subject and reduction in image quality.SOLUTION: A scanning laser ophthalmoscope includes: an optical system which scans an eyeground by irradiating a subject eye with laser light and detects return light of the laser light from the subject eye; and an image formation unit which forms a frontal image of the eyeground on the basis of the result of detection of the return light. The optical system includes an optical element group and a light receiving element. The optical element group selectively passes a polarized component substantially different from the return light from an anterior eye part in the return light of the laser light from the eyeground. The light receiving element detects the polarized component that has passed through the optical element group and outputs an electric signal. The image formation unit forms the frontal image of the eyeground on the basis of the electric signal outputted from the light receiving element.
