Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screw compressor discharge pressure control method to restrict energy loss to the minimum, prevent generation of hunting, and achieve excellent responsiveness.
SOLUTION: In a discharge pressure control method for a screw compressor provided with a slide valve 2 for regulating the capacity, and a bypass passage 6 to communicate a discharge passage with a suction passage 5 through an opening-adjustable bypass valve 4, the slide valve 2 is moved toward a no load condition when discharge gas consumption is decreasing, and toward a full load condition when discharge gas consumption is increasing controlled, based on a calculated target value of slide valve position, by the gain curve of a large gradient when an absolute value of deviation between a bypass valve opening and a reference opening is larger than a specified value, and by the gain curve of a small gradient when the absolute value is smaller than the specified value.
