Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and surely wash the surface of the stamper of an optical disk without damaging the surface.
SOLUTION: A washing sheet 12 which is formed to an endless belt form and has a hygroscopic property is supported in a state of hanging the same to a supporting rod 13 in such a manner that the outer peripheral surface of the sheet comes into contact with the stamper 20 of the optical disk placed on a turn table 11. A cleaning liquid is than infected to the inner peripheral surface of the cleaning sheet 12 from a cleaning liquid injection pipe 14 arranged below the supporting rod 13. As a result, the outer peripheral surface of the cleaning sheet 12 is eventually depressed to the stamper 20. When the stamper 20 is rotated in such a state by rotation of the turn table 11, the cleaning sheet 12 impregnated with the cleaning liquid removes the stains sticking to the surface of the stamper 20.
