Abstract:
PURPOSE: To prevent the removal of a seal cap fitted to a suction port or a discharge port surely in the transport of a compressor, as well as to fit the seal cap to the suction port or the discharge port easily.
CONSTITUTION: On the periphery of a flange 14 formed integrally to the upper side of the main body 13 of a seal cap 11, a press-in member 16 as an inserting member is formed integrally, and the press-in member 16 fitted to a screw hole 2d is formed integrally to the lower surface of a connection 15. A handle 17 is formed integrally on the upper side of the connection 15. Furthermore, on the outer peripheral surface S1 of the cap main body 13, circular grooves 13a are formed at plural parts, and the friction resistance to the inner circumferential surface S2 of a suction port 2b is increased. The removal of the cap main body 13 from the suction port 2b is prevented by the press-in member 16.
