Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a sealing device for the rotary shaft of a motor, which can be used without any possibility of abrasion, heat generation and noise, and which is and which is low in loss and simple in structure.
CONSTITUTION: The inner race 5a of a seal type ball bearing is fixed to a rotary shaft 3 while the outer race 5b of the seal type ball bearing and the case 4 of the sensor unit of a motor are sealed by resin 6 such as rubber and the like. The inner race of the seal type ball bearing is fixed to the rotary shaft and is sealed while a pressure is applied on the seal type ball bearing by the tightening force of the rubber sealing the space between the outer race of the seal type ball bearing and the case of the sensor unit of the motor whereby vibration and noise can be suppressed. On the other hand, the inner race of the seal type ball bearing is rotated together with the rotary shaft and the outer race of the same ball bearing is fixed to the case of the sensor unit through the rubber whereby there is no part of friction and there is no possibility of abrasion while loss is reduced, the structure is simplified and it is very profitable in actual use.
