Housing cylinder parts 6 for constituting terminal housing chambers 7 are provided in a female housing 1. A sealing member 3 is formed into a cap shape so as to cover the front surface of the housing cylinder part 6 to its outer peripheral part. Locking projection parts 41 elastically contacted with the outer surface of the housing cylinder parts 6 are formed in the inner surface of the sealing member 3. The locking projecting part 41 is formed such that its tip faces obliquely backward in the fitting direction. When the sealing member 3 is fitted, the locking projecting parts 41 are slid on a surface corresponding to the housing cylinder parts 6 and pushed in while being elastically deformed so as to be laid. The sealing member 3 is easily fitted with small resistance, once this member 3 is fitted, the locking projecting parts 41 bits into the outer surface of the housing cylinder part 6 and thus the sealing member 3 is firmly held so as to be prevented from being pulled out.
