Title:
SEAWATER POWER GENERATING EQUIPMENT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS60207446
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PURPOSE:To obtain a seawater power generating equipment at low cost, by setting a superconductive magnetizer against each magnetic path with a seawater pipe put between the paths and setting poles confronting each other in the direction of crossing the magnetic paths. CONSTITUTION:A seawater power generating equipment consists of a superconductive magnetizer 1 having an initial magnetizer 2 and of a plurality of non- magnetic unit pipes 3 forming a seawater pipe, and each unit pipe 3 arranged each in contact is flange-connected together via each insulating ring 4. A permanent magnet of N, S poles confronting each other with the unit pipe 3 between the poles is formed by the magnetizer 1, and positive and negative poles 5 confronting each other are set in the direction of crossing the permanent magnet. Then, when conductive seawater streams into the unit pipes 3, electromotive force is generated between the pole 5 and an electric source of low voltage and large capacity can be obtained by the series-connected pipes.
