Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To control the rotational speed of a second treatment cylinder in a second treatment apparatus and the travel speed of second grain according to the change of the amount of second grain returns.
SOLUTION: The second treatment apparatus 10 for a combine harvester is used for carrying out rachis-branch removal treatment of second grain after separation. The second treatment apparatus 10 has constitution that the second treatment cylinder 11 perpendicular to a threshing cylinder is supported on a shaft so as to be rotated and driven in a case 45. The case 45 has constitution that a plurality of control valves 63, 63... constituting an upright surface are pivoted in the case. The control valves 63, 63... have constitution that the size of inclination angle of the upright surface is controlled. The second treatment cylinder 11 has constitution that increase or decrease of the number of rotations is controlled by speed change mechanism. These controls are controlled according to the change of the volume of second grain returns.
