Abstract:

To provide a security lock method and a terminal capable of simultaneously locking/unlocking a FeliCa card module and an NFC (Type A/B) card module included in a UIM card and inhibiting unlocking even when a fraudulent UIM card is inserted.

The terminal is loaded with two IC card modules and a processor which executes an application for controlling the modules. In the case of a locking operation, a second IC card module stores a password inputted by a user, and the processor locks both the IC card modules. In the case of an unlocking operation, the second IC card module determines whether or not the password inputted from the processor and a password stored beforehand match, and when determined that it is true, outputs a password success notice to the processor, and in response to that, the processor unlocks both the card modules.
