To provide a self-traveling vehicle which travels at a right angle when turning to the left or the right on a road.
This vehicle comprises four wheels 11-14 installed at four corners 10a-10d at a bottom of a vehicle body 10, a travel driving device 20 traveling and driving the vehicle body 10 by rotary driving the wheels, and a steering device 30 steering and operating the four wheels by rotating them in a horizontal direction. The steering device 30 includes a switching means for performing: a steering operation using a pair of wheels 11, 12 installed on one side of the vehicle body 10 at the time of traveling the vehicle body 10 in a first direction Y as front wheels, and a pair of wheels 13, 14 opposed to these wheels as rear wheels; and a steering operation using a pair of the wheels 12, 13 installed along the other side adjacent to one side at a right angle at the time of traveling the vehicle body 10 in a second direction X perpendicular to the first direction Y as front wheels, and a pair of the wheels 11, 14 opposed to these wheels as rear wheels.
