Abstract:
To improve the cooling efficiency of a motor for compressing carbon dioxide.
A compression means 4 is formed of a pre-stage compressing part 11a and a post-stage compressing part 11b, and a piston 41 of each compressing part is driven by the power of the motor 2 to compress carbon dioxide. At the time, in cooling the motor, the compressor is provided with a liquid refrigerant introduction pipe 85 for extracting some of the liquefied or liquefacted refrigerant and guiding the same to a motor chamber 18, and a nozzle 86 is provided at the tip thereof, thereby jetting the refrigerant to the motor 2 to be cooled.
