Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a driver circuit and a display device that decrease flicker on a screen of the display device and assure shorter data writing time and lower power consumption.SOLUTION: In a pulse output circuit provided for a shift register, a power line connected to a transistor in an output part connected to a pulse output circuit in the next stage is set at a low-potential driving voltage, and a power line connected to a transistor in an output part connected to a scan signal line is set at a variable-potential driving voltage. The variable-potential driving voltage is low-potential driving voltage in a normal mode and is either high-potential driving voltage or low-potential driving voltage in a simultaneous mode. In the simultaneous mode, scan signals for display are output collectively at an identical timing to a plurality of scan signal lines.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
