Abstract:
To provide a servo writing method capable of realizing a highly accurate servo write operation when servo information is recorded by using a perpendicular magnetic recording method.
In the servo writing method for recording servo information on a disk 10 by using a perpendicular magnetic recording method, a servo write operation including set offset processing is performed on the basis of a hard/easy transition shift (HETS).
