Title:
SETTING STRUCTURE FOR BUMPER FASCIA
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS59134029
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To prevent a bolt head part from exposure, by attaching a hook part to a projecting part in a way of going around a terminal part at the upper side of a bumper fascia main part.

CONSTITUTION: Since a hook part 10 is attached to a groove 6 of a bead 5 in a way of going around a terminal part at the upper part of a bumper fascia main part 2A, there is in no case exposing a bolt head part outside as in the past. Moreover, since it is pressed down by a retainer plate 9, expansion and contraction in the direction of the car breadth of the bumper fascia main part 2A are allowed by slippage between the hook part 10 and the groove 6 whereby wavy deformation will not be produced at all. In addition, the retainer plate 9 brings its function as reinforcements into full play so that a bumper armature 1 can be thinned down to some extent in consequence.
