Abstract:
To provide a sewing thread can exhibite excellent deodorizing effects on malodors such as ammonia, amines, hydrogen sulfide, or mercaptans, and aldehydes, acetic acid etc., abundantly contained in tobacco smell even without deodorizing efficacy in a fabric, hardly deteriorating deodorizing properties even after washing, and having excellent sewability in industrial, domestic sewing etc, and beautifulness of seams.
A spun sewing thread having the deodorizing efficacy has following constitution in order to achieve the purpose: That is, the sewing thread is characterized in that the sewing thread is composed of a filament yarn obtained by carrying out graft copolymerization of a vinyl monomer having an acidic group.
