Title:
SHAFT FOR GOLF CLUB MADE OF FIBER REINFORCED RESIN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3540195
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase a carry by increasing a head speed when a golf club mounted with a shaft having a bending rigidity distribution to make the shaft smoothly supple over the entire part of the shaft is swung and increasing the initial flying angle of a ball.
SOLUTION: The reinforcing layers 8 at the front end of the shaft for the golf club made of the fiber reinforced resin formed by laminating fiber reinforced resin layers consisting of reinforcing fibers having a modulus of elasticity in tension of 70 to 800 GPa are formed of the fiber reinforced resin layers 5 consisting of carbon fibers having the modulus of elasticity in tension of ≤60 GPa. In addition, the fiber reinforced resin layers 5 consisting of the carbon fibers having the modulus of elasticity in tension of ≤60 GPa are disposed at the constituting layers of a grip part.
