Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shed size regulatory device ensuring the reciprocating movement of heald frames, i.e., warp shed size to be regulated more easily.
SOLUTION: This shed size regulatory device for a shedding motion 1 has the following scheme: there is a driving source (3) for each of a plurality of heald frames 2, the motion of the driving source (3) is transformed to the reciprocating motion of the corresponding heald frame 2 through a link mechanism 17, and by altering the lever ratio b/a of a swing lever 5 constituting the link mechanism 17, the reciprocating movement of the heald frames 2, i.e., warp shed size is regulated; wherein the reciprocating motion levels of the drive rods 4 for the respective heald frames 2 are made to differ from each other for at least the two heald frames 2, and the reciprocating motion level of the drive rod 4 for the heald frame 2 with greater shed size is set greater than or equal to that of the drive rod 4 for the heald frame 2 with smaller shed size.
