PURPOSE: To obtain the sheeny foamed sheet having a metal-deposited layer without cracks and a stereo effect pattern by a method in which a transfer layer containing a heat resistant resin layer embedded with a metal-deposited layer is formed as a transfer sheet, and while said transfer layer is transferred onto a foamable base, said base is foamed.

CONSTITUTION: The transfer sheet composed of a transfer sheet-base 1 and a transfer layer 2 is provided. The transfer layer 2 is composed of a releasing layer 21, a pattern printing layer 22, a heat resistant resin layer 23, a metal- deposited layer 24, a heat resistant resin layer 25, a foam-suppressing ink layer 26 and an adhering varnish layer 27. This transfer sheet is lapped on a foamable base 3, and its transfer is achieved under heating and pressurizing, and then the transfer sheet-base 1 is torn off and removed. Then the releasing layer 21 is coated with transparent resin as a top coat layer 4. Next, the whole is heated at least at the foaming temperature of the base 3, and the top coat layer 4 is dried and then the base 3 is foamed. Thus, the sheeny foamed sheet having the metal-deposited layer without cracks and a three dimensional pattern, is obtained.
