Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet feeding device and an image formation apparatus in which sheets in a sheet feeding cassette can be taken out without being left in a cassette storage part by improving interlocking responsibility at the time of a sheet pushing-back operation to the sheet feeding cassette in linkage with a pull-out operation of the sheet feeding cassette.SOLUTION: A sheet feeding device comprises: a lever part 101 whose base end part is rotatably supported by a cassette storage part 30 and free end part can move on a sheet transfer path toward a delivery roller 31 from a retreat position on a downstream side in a transfer direction of a nip portion between a sheet feeding roller 32 and a separation roller 33; and a connection member 102 which can connect/disconnect a sheet feeding cassette 28 and the lever part. The lever part is connected to the sheet feeding cassette in a state where the sheet feeding cassette is mounted. When the sheet feeding cassette is withdrawn from the cassette storage part, the free end part moves toward the upstream side in the sheet transfer direction on the sheet transfer path in synchronization with the movement of the sheet feeding cassette, and is brought into contact with the sheet existing on the sheet transfer path to return the sheet onto the sheet feeding cassette.
