Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide SMC capable of providing FRP which is inexpensive and burnable easily for disposal in replacement of glass fiber used for general purpose as a reinforced fiber for SMC used for FRP mold.SOLUTION: There is provided a sheet molding compound by impregnating a thermosetting resin composition into sheet containing a short fiber where the short fiber is mainly cotton fiber, sheet is a nonwoven fabric by crossconnection integrated short fiber as a constitutional fiber each other in three-dimension, and mass ratio of sheet in the sheet molding compound is 5 to 25 mass%.
