Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sheet post-processing device which can prevent both occurrence of sheet rear end remaining and reduction in alignment property of sheets on a sheet discharge tray in such a configuration that a sheet bundle discharged from an image formation apparatus and placed on an intermediate tray is extruded by an extrusion member and the sheet bundle dropping from the intermediate tray is loaded and stored on the sheet discharge tray.SOLUTION: When a sheet loading amount M loaded and stored on a sheet discharge tray is equal to or less than a threshold THb (YES in S13), an extrusion member is moved at a speed Vb and a sheet bundle on an intermediate tray is extruded to the outside of the intermediate tray (S14, S8). When the sheet loading amount M loaded and stored on the sheet discharge tray becomes larger and exceeds the threshold THb (NO in S13), after that, the extrusion member is moved at a speed Vc slower than the speed Vb with respect to the sheet bundle being an extrusion object on the intermediate tray to extrude the sheet bundle to the outside of the intermediate tray (S15, S8).SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 20
