PURPOSE: To obtain such a storage shelf for long size materials that is movable lightly and superior in workability by simplifying the moving mechanism of a part where long size materials are placed.

CONSTITUTION: The shelf is provided with a slide arm 5 on which long size materials can be placed and which is movable between a state projected from the opening of the shelf frame 1 and a state stored inside the shelf frame, upper and lower guide rollers 7, 8 which are provided in a deep part of the shelf frame 1 so as to guide the move of the slide arm; and driving wheels 9 which are provided close to the opening of the shelf frame and which receive the slide arm from the lower side and drive it. The load on the slide arm 5 is imparted to the driving wheels 9, to the lower guide roller 8 when the slide arm is in the stored position, and to the upper guide roller 7 when the slide arm is projecting from the opening. The driving wheels 9 drive the slide arm 5 by a frictional force.
