Abstract:
PURPOSE: To make it possible to calculate an accurate earth moving amount and to enable the excavation control by providing an earth moving pipe to the rear end of an earth moving device, and providing a current measuring device measuring the velocity flow of earth-moving to the earth moving pipe.
CONSTITUTION: An earth moving pipe 9 is provided to the rear end of an earth moving device 8 provided to a shield cylinder 1 of an excavator, and a current measuring device 10 measuring the velocity of flow of earth is provided to an optimum position of the earth moving pipe. The measurement of the velocity of flow uses laser lights. The current measuring device 10 is formed of a transmission body 10a formed of a glass member, etc., and a measuring output 10b, the velocity of flow can be measured by laser lights through the transmission body 10a. After that, the velocity of flow of earth moving is measured by the current measuring device 10, an earth moving amount is calculated by sectional area of a measuring position, and the excavation is so controlled that the excavated earth amount is equivalent in comparison with an excavated earth amount per every minute. According to the constitution, the excavation control can be surely made.
