Abstract:
To provide a shift range control device capable of appropriately stopping a motor at a target position.SOLUTION: A drive control part drives a motor in such a manner that an encoder count value θen becomes a target count value θcmd corresponding to a target shift range, and stops a rotor through fixed phase electrification control when the encoder count value θen reaches the target count value θcmd. The drive control part reduces a current to be electrified to the motor in accordance with a difference between a brake torque Tb which is a torque to be generated when separating from a vibration center and an acceleration torque Ta which is a torque to be generated when moving toward the vibration center while maintaining a state where the brake torque Tb is greater than the acceleration torque Ta in a case where the rotor is vibrated with respect to a stop position corresponding to an electrification phase during the fixed phase electrification control. Thus, the motor is appropriately stopped at a target position.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 9
